Coach, I pulled advanced per-possession rates on three portal candidates and layered them against your stated thresholds, UNM's 2025-26 roster performance, and the 2026-27 roster churn. Each candidate is graded against a specific open slot — not a generic rate profile.
These are the five gates you laid out. I measured every candidate against them and flagged where UNM's 2025-26 numbers make each one a live need, not a generic preference.
Career per-possession rates, stacked against your gates. Green clears, red misses, yellow is borderline or small-sample. The same rate across a full D1 career is weighted differently than a seven-game sprint — I've flagged both.
